High-Load Backend and DevOps Infrastructure

The problem we solve

A streaming platform with millions of users requires flawless operation: instant content delivery, zero downtime, and protection against traffic spikes.

Our infrastructure guarantees stability even with 100,000+ concurrent users. It is not just a server setup, but an ecosystem for growth without technical limitations.

How it works

For a global streaming platform, we built:

Hybrid Architecture

A CDN of 10+ caching servers (AWS CloudFront) reduced content delivery latency for users across regions. Distributed backend clusters managed by Kubernetes (k8s) provide autoscaling, load balancing (through HAProxy or built-in tools), and self-healing in case of component failures. If one server goes down, the system automatically switches to a backup.

Process Automation

Advanced CI/CD: we actively use GitLab CI/CD to automate build and testing, and Argo CD for reliable, fast Kubernetes deployments according to GitOps principles. This ensures instant rollouts without downtime. Production testing: advanced test scenarios are integrated into the development pipeline so that every new feature is verified before release.

Monitoring

CloudWatch and Grafana track real-time metrics, from resource consumption to traffic anomalies.

Benefits

99.9% Uptime

Users do not experience maintenance windows or frozen content.

Global Speed

Content loads in 0.8-1.2 seconds regardless of the viewer’s location.

Savings Without Quality Loss

Automatic resource adaptation to current demand and load optimization reduce infrastructure costs.

Safe Changes

Every update is tested automatically, minimizing the risk of bugs.
